Who we work with – Accountants

As a firm we are keen to promote the benefits of the coordination of strategy and planning with other Professional Services, such as Accountants, to individual and corporate clients. We believe that professional advice and services are paramount in all aspect of successful financial planning.

Whilst there is common ground between Financial Planners and Accountants in terms of shared knowledge, both Professions retain their own niche and add value to clients through the Services that they provide.

We believe that by creating long term partnerships with other Professional Services we can develop and maintain a holistic strategy, with each Profession retaining primacy in their field, that will ultimately produce superior outcomes for clients.

For example, Financial Planners and Accountants can work together to –

  • Maximise the tax efficiency of remuneration – identifying the role of Salary, Dividends, and Pension Contributions to mitigate tax and maximise net income.
  • Plan for Retirement – by creating a strategy that accurately identifies the type of assets, the availability of tax allowances, and the order in which assets should be used to mitigate tax and maximise net income. This will reduce the overall Withdrawal Rate of the assets available and make the level of income in retirement more sustainable.
  • Provide long-term advice for multiple generations of the same family. This particularly relevant where assets are transitioned from one generation to the next via Estate Planning.
