Office re-opening & Cloned Firm Notification
Office re-opening
The Newport office has re-opened and office hours of 9am – 4pm Monday to Friday will resume from Monday 22nd June. The office will operate with Andrew and John alternating days ‘in office’ to ensure that we follow social distancing guidelines.
At the beginning of July we will provide valuations for the second quarter of 2020 and we will also provide rebalancing recommendations in the week following this.
With regards to scheduling meetings, these will continue to be available via telephone or via online meetings (such as Skype or Zoom). We will also continue to monitor guidance from the Welsh and UK Governments regarding face to face meetings and hope to be able to arrange such meetings soon.

Cloned Firm Notification
We must unfortunately report that we have received a Cloned Firm Notification from the FCA. This means that individuals unknown have claimed to represent Financial Planning Wales.
To our knowledge this Cloned Firm has not approached any existing clients but has instead attempted to contact individuals in foreign countries claiming to work on our behalf.
Please note that we have robust measures in place to protect your interests, however it is important that you exercise caution at all times. The only individuals from Financial Planning Wales that you will contact you directly are Alan Coombs (Chairman), Andrew Chorley (Managing Director) or John Chorley (Director).
If any other individual attempts to contact you please report this contact to either Alan, Andrew or John.
