Over the last few years we have noticed that the number of websites or publications that exist regarding investment have been increasing; in “lockdown” with no sports the number of people opening trading accounts where they can “bet” on the direction of a share or financial index has also risen substantially.
The main theme that we feel seems to run through much of this, and the advertising of it, is that you can get rich quick! Now some people may well do but they are few and far between and you hear very little of the failures, after all who would start a blog or podcast celebrating their losses!
Whilst there are some excellent sites in the UK they are few and far between, often going under the radar or failing to attract the attention of those fixated on being millionaires “….this time next year Rodney!”
In the US the depth of investment information and education available for free, or at reasonable cost, is much larger and broader; in fact we use several sites that over the years have provided consistent and balanced analysis of investment markets and asset classes.
We present a lot of details on our Company website; some of which only touches the surface of the work that we have undertaken behind the scenes and we feel that now may be the time to publish these ideas and concepts making them available for those that are interested. With this in mind over the coming months Andrew will be setting up an information website that will provide us with a platform to present the work we do and our thinking about investments that we hope clients – and anyone else who may be interested – can access as a resource if they would like to further their understanding of finance.
This is a project that has been in development for some years and we hope to be able to let you know more about it in the coming weeks and months.
